Traveling teaching kids dance....

I got into dancing tango by way of Circus Arts, trapeze and fabric in the early 2000s... I went to Buenos Aires to learn tango. I wanted to choreograph an authentic tango routine in the Air.

Initially my appreciation of tango came when Tango Argentino the stage show came through Detroit in the late 80’s and then I reencountered it later when Astor Piazzolla died in 1992.... On NPR, they had a great special on Astor and his impact on tango music. For 6 months a year minimum for over 10 years

I traveled to Argentina learning tango and folklore.

Detroit Native and lover of music, grew up in music stores. Started Djaying Soul and RnB then Alternative rock electronic dance music then world music, latin, african, arabic, asian and folk music from the world all over. Currently Traditional tango, Contemporary Tango and Alternative

tango is occupying my time. I travel quite a bit for tango but when I am not teaching or dancing I am making ceramics, photos, films cooking and learning music.
