I started to dance tango 10 years ago back in Russia and since then it was an amazing journey. I got the opportunity to learn from many talented argentine maestros and socially dance all across the world - Asia, Europe and finally US. I'm relatively new to Michigan, last couple of years I spent in San Francisco which has a great tango scene. I was happy to find out that Detroit has such a dynamic and welcoming tango community.
I prefer salon tango style - close embrace and elegant movements though experimenting with modern music and bringing inspiration from other dances could be really fun too!
My primary job is a testing engineer but every time I get some spare time I spend it dancing
